Emergency plumber in London

A burst pipe, an overflowing toilet or no heating? Here is what to do first, and how to check whether we can attend.

Turn off the water at the stopcock first if you can.

Do this first

  1. Smell gas? Do not wait. Leave the property and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.
  2. Leak: turn off the water at the stopcock, usually under the kitchen sink or where the pipe enters the home.
  3. Switch off electrics near the water if it is safe to do so, and keep away from wet sockets.
  4. Open taps to drain the system once the water is off, and move belongings out of the way.
  5. Take photos of the leak and any damage for your insurer.

Call to check availability

Call free on 0800 118 2128 (London 0203 143 3883) and tell us the problem, your full postcode and what you have already done. We check engineer availability and tell you what is possible. We cannot promise a time without checking first.

We review the job, location and price before sending a quote or invoice for advance payment. Once you have paid, your booking is confirmed, and a two-hour arrival window can be confirmed on the day.
