How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected. We decide the appropriate period by considering:
- Whether an enquiry remains active and whether a service or customer relationship is continuing.
- Accounting, tax, safety-record and other legal requirements that apply to the record.
- Warranty, servicing, complaint, insurance and legal-claim requirements.
- The sensitivity of the information and whether the same purpose can be met with less information.
Information that is no longer needed should be securely deleted or anonymised. Contact us if you would like information about the retention period for a particular record.
