Radiators

Radiator installation
& replacement.

Replace old radiators, add a radiator to a cold room, fit a designer or column radiator or a heated towel rail – sized for the room and balanced with the rest of your heating.

What we fit

  • Like-for-like replacement radiators
  • Larger radiators for rooms that never get warm
  • Extra radiators in extensions or loft rooms
  • Designer, vertical and column radiators
  • Heated towel rails, including dual-fuel rails
  • New radiator valves and thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs)

Getting the size right

A radiator needs enough heat output for the room. The engineer looks at the room size, windows, insulation and the outside walls, and checks the boiler can supply the extra heat if you are adding radiators.

A like-for-like replacement with the same pipe centres is the quickest job. A different size or position means pipework changes, which are included in your quote.

Send these details

  • Photos of the existing radiator, both valves and the pipes
  • Width and height of the radiator and the distance between the pipes
  • The radiator you have chosen, if any (make and model)
  • Which room, and anything that makes access difficult
  • Full postcode, access and parking

Supplied by you or by us

We can supply the radiator, or fit one you have bought. Send the model and dimensions first so we can check the connections, fixings and output.

Draining down, refilling, inhibitor and balancing the system are part of the job.

Radiator questions

Will a bigger radiator heat a cold room?

It may, but a cold room can also be caused by sludge, a faulty valve or poor balancing. If several radiators are cold at the bottom, a power flush may help.

Do I need a new boiler for extra radiators?

Not usually for one or two, but the engineer checks your boiler has enough output.

Can you move a radiator to another wall?

Yes. Moving a radiator needs new pipework, so it is priced from photos or a visit.
