Will it work with my boiler?
Most modern boilers work with a smart thermostat. Some controls can also adjust the boiler’s temperature rather than just switching it on and off (often called OpenTherm or modulation), which can make the heating more efficient.

New boiler?
In England, when a combi boiler is fitted, the rules (known as Boiler Plus) need an extra energy-saving measure. A smart thermostat with automation and optimisation is one of the options. Every gas boiler also needs time and temperature controls.

Smart thermostat questions
Do I need Wi-Fi?
Yes, for app control. The thermostat or its hub connects to your home Wi-Fi, so it needs a reliable signal where it is fitted.
Can I keep the thermostat in the same place?
Usually. Wireless thermostats can also be moved to a better spot, away from radiators, sunlight and draughts.
Will you set up the app?
Yes. We connect it, set a starting schedule and show you how to use it.
Who does the work
Work is carried out by one of our approved installation partners, registered for the work involved. Your written quotation names the installer, who your contract is with, and your warranty and workmanship guarantee.
