Electric boiler repair.
An electric boiler has no gas supply or flue, but it can still lose heating or hot water. Send the make and model and we tell you whether we can attend before you book.
Common problems
- No heating or hot water, or hot water that runs cold quickly.
- An error code or warning light on the display.
- Low pressure, or water leaking from the boiler or its pipework.
- The boiler tripping the electricity supply, or noises from the unit.
Electric boilers are wired into the home’s electricity supply. Switch the boiler off at its isolator if you are worried, and do not open the casing.
Booking a diagnostic visit
Send the make and model from the data label. Not every make and model can be repaired by us, so we confirm this before you book.
The £92.50 covers up to 45 minutes to investigate the fault. We aim to get your boiler working during the visit where possible. The fee is for the diagnostic visit and is payable regardless of the outcome. Any further repair work is agreed separately. What happens at the visit
Information to send
- The full postcode and whether the property is a house, flat or rented.
- The make and model of the boiler, from the data label, and the error code if one is showing.
- What is wrong, when it started, and whether it affects heating, hot water or both.
- Photographs and/or videos of the boiler, the display and the pipework around it, taken from a safe position.
Booking
Once you have paid, your booking is confirmed.
A two-hour arrival window can be confirmed on the day.
