Boiler installation in New Southgate
New Southgate has Victorian and Edwardian terraces, 1930s houses and flat conversions, close to Arnos Grove and Southgate. It is a mix of owner-occupied and rented homes.
Postcodes in this area include N11. A like-for-like replacement can start with the online boiler price. Moving the boiler, a new flue route, changing the system or any unusual job is assessed at a survey first.
What we check for a New Southgate installation
- Rented homes need approval and tenant access arranged before work is agreed.
- Converted flats can restrict flue routes and may need freeholder consent.

What to have ready
- The full postcode, and whether the property is a house, flat or rented.
- Photos of the boiler and its data label, the controls, and where the flue leaves the outside wall, taken from a normal standing position.
- Photos of the visible gas meter and gas pipe, and of the place you would like the boiler to go, if it is moving.
- Do not remove the boiler casing, climb into a loft you cannot enter safely or touch any gas fitting to take photos.
