Boiler installation in Cheshunt
Cheshunt is a Hertfordshire town beside the Lee Valley, with 1930s to 1960s housing and newer estates, plus older cottages. It sits just north of Waltham Cross.
Postcodes in this area include EN7 and EN8. A like-for-like replacement can start with the online boiler price. Moving the boiler, a new flue route, changing the system or any unusual job is assessed at a survey first.
What we check for a Cheshunt installation
- Houses from different decades vary widely in boiler position and flue route, so photographs of the outside wall help.
- If you rent, tell us who approves the work and who gives access.
See also moving a boiler and flue changes and boiler conversions.
What to have ready
- The full postcode, and whether the property is a house, flat or rented.
- Photos of the boiler and its data label, the controls, and where the flue leaves the outside wall, taken from a normal standing position.
- Photos of the visible gas meter and gas pipe, and of the place you would like the boiler to go, if it is moving.
- Do not remove the boiler casing, climb into a loft you cannot enter safely or touch any gas fitting to take photos.
