Planning kitchen work
If a new kitchen is going in, the plumbing is best planned before the units are fitted: the position of the sink, dishwasher and washing machine decides where the supply valves and waste connections need to be. Tell us the layout and appliance models, and whether the old pipework is being reused or moved. Moving a gas hob or cooker needs a Gas Safe registered engineer and a tightness test, so gas pipework is checked before the new appliance is connected.
