Our published prices for fitting a gas cooker or hob, what is included and what can change the price.
Our prices
- Freestanding gas cooker installation: from £92.50 on an existing gas connection, plus materials where needed
- Gas hob installation: from £164.50
- Gas cooker or hob disconnection: from £92.50
What is included
Every installation includes gas tightness testing, a pressure check, a ventilation check and checks that the appliance and its safety devices work correctly.
What can change the price
- Materials such as a new cooker hose or stability chain
- Built-in ovens, priced after we have seen the appliance and the connection
- A new gas point or new pipework, priced separately after photos or a visit
- Parking: £10 per hour where it is needed
Who can fit it
By law, gas appliances must be installed, connected and disconnected by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Ask to see the ID card, and check the Gas Safe Register.

Do you fit electric cookers?
No. We fit gas cookers, ovens and hobs.
