An indirect cylinder is heated by your boiler, with an electric immersion heater as backup. Fixed prices for replacing an unvented cylinder like for like, from 120 to 300 litres.
Indirect unvented cylinders
An indirect cylinder has a coil inside that your boiler heats, plus an electric immersion heater as backup. It is the usual choice with a system or conventional boiler.

Priced at your free survey
The prices above are for replacing an unvented cylinder like for like. If your home needs extra work, it is priced at your free survey before you agree to anything, for example:
- Converting from a loft-tank (vented) cylinder: removing the tank and changing the pipework
- A new discharge pipe to the outside
- Moving the cylinder to a new position
- Upgrading the cold water main if the pressure or flow is too low

- A safe discharge pipe route
