Start with the symptoms
One cold radiator and a whole home that stays cold may need different investigations. The cause can involve controls, valves, circulation or the heating system rather than the radiator alone.
Useful observations
Tell us how many radiators are affected, whether they are cold throughout or in patches, and whether the boiler produces hot water. Note when the problem began and whether recent work changed the system. Do not loosen fittings or drain the system without appropriate knowledge. Power flushing should follow an assessment rather than be assumed to be the solution.
