One contact for the property
Tell us the property address, landlord or agent billing details, and who will provide access. Keep the payer and occupier contacts separate so the booking, permission for work and paperwork reach the right people. Coverage and suitable attendance are checked before the visit is confirmed.
- Landlord Gas Safety Records (CP12) and annual boiler servicing.
- Heating, hot water and plumbing diagnostics, followed by a quote for further work where needed.
- Gas cooker and hob installation or disconnection, subject to appliance and connection requirements.
- Boiler replacement enquiries, with installation scope and contracting arrangements explained in writing.
Prices and practical arrangements
A CP12 is £92.50 for up to two included appliances, such as a boiler and cooker/hob. Additional appliances are £22.50 each; gas fires are always charged separately. Describe every appliance when booking so the scope and price can be checked.
Parking, where required, is £10 per hour. Key collection is £15, or £30 for collection and return. Arrange key collection, tenant contact and any building access restrictions before payment. Portfolio requests can be reviewed together; appointment availability is confirmed for each property.
Booking, access and records
- Book online or send an enquiry with the full postcode, appliance list and access contact.
- Heating People reviews the location, work and pricing before issuing a quote or invoice for advance payment. Once you have paid, your booking is confirmed.
- A two-hour arrival window can be confirmed on the day. Make sure the engineer can safely access the appliances and supplies needed for the agreed check.
- The digital gas safety record can be issued the same day once the required checks and record are completed. It records any defects; a visit does not guarantee a satisfactory result.
- Tell us the authorised recipients for the record. Keep your own due-date reminders and contact us in good time to arrange the next check.
Choose the right appointment
A gas safety check and a boiler service do different jobs. Ask for both if both are required; do not assume that booking a CP12 includes a full boiler service. Alarm supply or fitting and any repairs should be requested and priced separately.
