Homebuyer plumbing and heating assessment
Request a scoped plumbing and heating assessment before buying a property in London.
Agree the questions before the visit
If you are buying a property, ask what checks are included before arranging a plumbing or heating assessment. A general visual assessment, a boiler service and a landlord gas safety check are different services and produce different records. Tell us which concerns your surveyor or solicitor has raised.
Access and information
Provide the property postcode, appliance details, available records and the seller or agent’s access arrangements. Agree whether the visit is visual only or includes appliance testing, what written findings are required and whether utilities will be connected. Concealed pipework and inaccessible components cannot be fully assessed without an agreed scope.
What the assessment does not replace
This is an enquiry for a specifically agreed service. It does not promise a whole-building survey, structural advice or a guarantee against future faults. Any specialist inspection or further investigation must be identified and agreed before booking.
Before you book
Tell us the full postcode, the problem and any appliance or fitting details you have. Photographs can help explain access and the work involved. We review the information before confirming the scope and price. Parts and further work must be agreed separately where they are not included.
Once you have paid, your booking is confirmed. A two-hour arrival window can be confirmed on the day. Tell us about parking restrictions, keys, tenants and restricted access when arranging the visit.
