Repair or replacement?
A leaking tap may need a suitable cartridge, washer, seal or another part. A repair depends on the fault, condition and availability of compatible parts.
If replacement is more suitable, we can assess the proposed tap and connections before the work is agreed. Do not assume every tap will suit the existing sink, bath or water system.

What the quote needs to cover
Confirm whether the job is labour only or includes supplying a tap and fittings. Access, isolation valves, pipework condition and the replacement connections can affect the work required.
Pipe alterations, defective valves, cabinet or bath-panel access, and making good are assessed separately where needed. We explain additional work and charges before proceeding.
Before the appointment
Keep the replacement tap and its supplied fittings available if you are providing them. Clear safe access to the sink or basin and tell us about any bath panels, built-in units or restricted space.
For a rented property, confirm the landlord or agent authorisation and the correct payment contact before arranging the visit. Call to check availability for an active leak that needs urgent attention.

Can you fit a tap I have bought?
Yes, subject to checking suitability, connections, condition and access. Send the model or product link and photos before the appointment.
Does the price include the tap?
Supply and labour must be confirmed in the quote. A labour-only booking does not automatically include a new tap, cartridge or other parts.
Can you repair a dripping tap instead?
We can assess it. A repair depends on the fault and availability of compatible parts; replacement may be recommended where repair is unsuitable.
What if the valves or pipework also need work?
Tell us about known problems before booking. Any additional work and charges are explained and agreed before proceeding.
